ROBERT

ROBERT "RABBIT" JARAMILLO, Co-founder of the original group, Cannibal and The Headhunters hails from the Romona Gardens Housing Projects of East L.A. with Scar they formed a group called Bobby and the Classics, but like the change of the seasons, members would come and go when the seasons proved fruitful and he found himself in a new group and with a Top 40 smash hit, "Land of 1000 Dances"! As one of the original four Headhunters he went on to tour in the Motown Revue sharing the stage with his childhood idols, The Temptations, The Spinners, Wilson Pickett, The Four Tops and many more. He performed at Shea Stadium in 1965 opening for the Beatles in their 2nd U.S. Tour and would often share the lead vocal spot with Frankie by singing "Don't Let Her Go" "I Need Your Loving" and "Devil in Disguise". He would like to thank his family, friends and fans for their continued support for Cannibal and the Headhunters.

Richard "SCAR" Lopez
Founder of the Original 1965 group, Cannibal and the Headhunters, Scar sings Baritone and background. As a Headhunter, his fondest memory was performing at the same venue with Smokey Robinson & the Miralces at the Brooklyn Fox Theater in New York City, but he still might tell you that performing with The Temptations was also his favorite moment. Scar's run with the group through 1967 would prove to be the climax of the groups success and would lay the foundation for many other groups that would realize the same dreams he had as a kid coming out of the projects of East L.A. He currently resides in Southern California and is actively developing a show in celebration of the groups 40th year anniversary. His years of experience and humor bring an abundance of energy to the stage. He would like to thank all the fans that never forgot about Cannibal and the Headhunters and most notebly for their years of support. One fact often overlooked and never mentioned is that Scar recorded the lead vocals on one song on their first album... Don't know which one!!! We'll go easy on you - the answer is... "Here Comes Love".

Greg Esparza
Greg Esparza, a California native raised in the City of La Habra is a singer, songwriter and actor and the current lead vocalist with CANNIBAL AND THE HEADHUNTERS, assuming Cannibal's role in the world famous 60's rock group from East L.A. While in hiatus from duty with Cannibal and The Headhunters, Esparza is currently doing triple duty acting in indie film projects, recently being assigned as the new lead vocalist for another 1960s East L.A. legendary group, Thee Midniters as well as recently reuniting as the featured lead singer for Paris Escovedo's, THE ESCOVEDO PROJECT, a Latin Soul/Rythm and Blues act. His last two tours include a 2004 Southeast Asia Tour of Japan, South Korea and Guam, just after a France Tour with the PONCHO KINGZ of Mexico City. As for Greg's latest music accomplishments, he debued at the The Greek Theatre on May 24, 2008 in the Latin Legends Live Tour as the featured lead singer for Thee Midniters with a great reception. Thee Midniters are hearing favorable reviews with Esparza at the helm; That the current Midniters line-up is the best reincarnation of Thee Midniters since their hey days of the 1960s with original lead vocalist Lil Willie G. Other noteworthy news is the Winter 2007 release of former project, working title "REINVENTING MYSELF" now known as "JUST ENOUGH TO SEE THE SUN" which includes a collaboration of 10 original songs penned by Greg Esparza along with his good friend and music arranger/producer, Javier Ceja of Sonora, Mexico. You can find Greg Esparza's first solo cd at iTune stores worldwide.

Andy "The Hitman" Tesso
Andy embodied the 1960's East L.A. sound that all the bands wanted with his unique upstroke touch on the nylon strings or electric guitars that came to life when he played them. The Hitman, as he is known to his friends wrote the hits, "Get Your Baby", "Huggies Bunnies" and "Soto City," played with Cannibal and the Headhunters, The Blendells, The Blue Satins and the Premiers in the 1960's to name a few of the bands he collaborated with. If you are familiar with the hit song "Farmer John" by the Premiers, you've all heard him sing the line after "Farmer John" "Oh oooh oh" Andy "The Hitman" Tesso singing away and playing that guitar! Most recently Andy and The Blue Satins re-recorded and released their hits and favorites in January of 2005. As Music Director for Cannibal and the Headhunters, his musical mastery entwined with the group's flawless harmonies delivers that authentic East L.A. sound in every show!
